ABOUT AMIGO

In 2019, we came to Hakuba Village and opened a ski lodge called Hakuba Powder Republic. However, in the winter of 2019, we encountered the biggest challenge since starting our business—the COVID-19 pandemic. After enduring three tough years, our lodge finally began to stabilize during the 2022 snow season, and guests from all over the world gradually started to return.

In the fall of 2023, we found a suitable location and launched the AMIGO brand, opening the first truly Chinese-run ski equipment shop in Hakuba Village—AMIGO Rental Shop.

Due to limited resources, we were only able to offer snowboard rentals during the 2023-2024 season, serving only half of the skiers. But for the new 2024-2025 snow season, we have added ski rentals,，completing our transformation into a fully-fledged ski equipment shop that can serve all skiers.

In the fall of 2024, we started a new venture—the AMIGO Guest House (youth hostel), located across the street from the rental shop with the shuttle bus stop conveniently nearby. We've embarked on a new chapter—the HAKUBA-AMIGO Universe—offering a ski lodge, standalone villa, ski equipment shop, youth hostel, and restaurant/bar.

We're bringing an all-new service and experience to our guests.
